Melbourne-based retailer and renowned collaborator, UP THERE, releases its first silhouette since joining the adidas Consortium collective. Inspired by the City Series, the brand pays tribute to its hometown with a blend of tennis and track references, creating a timeless design that would fit comfortably in the archives. Nodding to a signature by tennis great Rod Laver, a white mesh upper is lined with luxe padded leather, while green goat leather and rough-cut suede accents draw from a track spike from the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. Underfoot, a performance skate insole boosts balance capabilities, and a herringbone gum rubber outsole ensures solid grip. To finish, the foam tongue replicates an Australian-made adidas ROME with ‘MADE BY UP THERE’ script. | KJ4237
